How are custom orthotics made?
Our custom orthotics are designed to be unique to you and your presenting complaint. We utilise state of the art 3D scanning as well as CAD/CAM and 3D printing to produce our custom-made devices. Each pair are carefully designed and manufactured for precision and comfort. We work closely with leading orthotics lab, Epione Orthotics to make sure we get the best possible products for our clients. The orthotics normally take 10 working days to manufacture but we can also offer a rush service which is 3 working days.
How long do they last?
Depending on the materials that are chosen, custom orthotics will normally have a useful lifespan of at least 5 years. Again, depending on the materials they are manufactured from, it is normally possible to refurbish the devices when things like the top covers have worn through, making custom orthotics very cost effective.
How much do custom orthotics cost?
The cost of custom foot orthotics varies depending on the materials that they are made from and the manufacturing process used. Our custom-made orthotics range from £220-£240. To keep things simple, we offer a custom-made orthotic package. This includes your initial assessment appointment, the orthotics, the orthotic fitting appointment and one follow-up appointment. The cost of this package is £350.
