We are private Podiatrists in Perth and offer expert care, always putting our patients at the centre of everything we do. Footcare Scotland offers a wide range of private podiatry treatments at convenient and flexible times.
With NHS services stretched, you may not qualify for NHS treatment or face long waiting lists to be seen. It is in these situations where private podiatry becomes an invaluable and essential service.
Routine Podiatry £49/39
Routine Podiatry includes taking care of any nail or skin issues that you may have. This would include the assessment and treatment of ingrown toenails, corns or hard skin. An initial appointment is 45-minutes and costs £49. This includes taking a full medical history, discussing any problems or concerns you may have with your feet and working out an appropriate treatment plan to suit your individual needs. This can range from a one-off appointment to ongoing podiatry treatment at regular intervals. If you require a follow up appointment, they are priced at £39.
Musculoskeletal Podiatry £70
In addition to our routine podiatry treatments, we specialise in treating musculoskeletal issues of the foot and ankle. This would include any tendon, muscle or joint injury. This specialist assessment is priced at £70 for the initial appointment and then follow-up appointments are £40. From this, you can be guaranteed expert treatment and advice with an aim to reduce your symptoms and optimise your lower limb function and performance, long term. Sports Podiatry £90
If you have an injury related to sport or running, then we would recommend that you book for a Sports Assessment. This is an in depth 60min assessment which will take into consideration medical, injury and training history, a specialist musculoskeletal examination and 2D video gait analysis. This allows the Podiatrist to diagnose your problem and put in place the most appropriate treatment plan to get you back to your chosen sport or activity as quickly and safely as possible. This
3D gait analysis £165/£295
We are the only private clinic in Scotland to offer this truly state of the art assessment. 3D gait analysis uses infrared cameras to accurately measure the positions of markers attached to a person’s legs. This data is used to create a 3D model and sophisticated software then calculates joint angles and velocities at the pelvis, hip, knee and ankle. These values are compared to a database so that the person’s unique biomechanical profile can be calculated. Additional measures of the person’s flexibility, strength and alignment can also be compared to the database, enabling a clinician to determine the cause of any abnormal biomechanical function and optimise the treatment plan.
Run 3D Silver assessment £165
This is most suitable for patients who have been referred to us for gait analysis by another healthcare professional, who has already carried out their own clinical examination of their patient. The assessment includes a medical history to discuss any musculoskeletal issues, your activity levels/training and your general health. This is followed by an objective 3D gait analysis of you walking/running on the treadmill. You will receive a detailed written report of your running gait, identifying biomechanical issues, asymmetries and performance indicators, which will be discussed with you and shared with your therapist. If appropriate, a rehabilitation programme to address any issues identified will be recommended.
Run3D Gold assessment £295
This is our gold standard assessment for running/sport injuries. The assessment includes a detailed history which will take into consideration medical history, current or previous injuries and your activity levels/training. This is followed by a detailed and objective musculoskeletal assessment of your strength, flexibility, motor-control and stability. You will then be taken through a state-of-the-art 3D gait analysis of you walking/running on the treadmill. You will receive a detailed written report of your running gait and musculoskeletal function, identifying biomechanical issues, musculoskeletal deficits, asymmetries and performance indicators, which will be discussed with you. The results will be used to provide you with evidence-based recommendations, which might include exercise therapy, further treatment and gait retraining.
